1. General Principles

RetouchTools applies transparent refund standards under applicable law and service policy.

This policy applies to subscription payments and one-time credit purchases.

2. Credit Types and Deduction Order

One-time credits: credits purchased as standalone top-ups.

Subscription credits: credits granted through subscription billing events.

Default deduction order: one-time credits are used first, then subscription credits if needed.

Certain studio products require one-time credits only.

3. Automatic Credit Restoration

If a job fails due to a confirmed system issue, deducted credits are automatically restored.

Restoration records are logged in the credit ledger and job history.

4. Unused Purchase Refund Requests

For payments with no usage history, users may request a refund within 7 days of purchase.

Eligibility is reviewed based on payment status, usage records, promotions, and legal requirements.

5. Post-Usage Refund Limits

Completed/consumed digital processing is generally non-refundable.

Exceptions may apply for duplicate charges, confirmed system failures, or merchant-at-fault incidents.

6. Subscription Cancellation and Renewal

Subscriptions can be canceled before the next billing date to stop renewal.

Charges already billed and completed usage remain subject to this policy and applicable law.

Credit balances may be adjusted based on billing events and settlement lifecycle.

7. Exceptional Compensation

Duplicate billing: duplicate portions are refunded once verified.

Extended outage: refunds or equivalent credit compensation may be provided based on impact and billing state.

9. Processing Timeline

10. Non-Refundable Cases

Used credits and completed digital processing requested only due to preference change.

Requests associated with policy violations or abuse.

Free/promotional credits granted at no charge.
